BEGINNING SILVERSMITH CLASS
Learn about the basic tools and techniques for fabricating jewelry; some of the following techniques will be covered forming, forging, piercing, finishing, texturizing, soldering, annealing, stone setting(0NY AVAILABLE IN THE 8 WEEK SESSION) and design.
Classes will be limited to 6 people for personal attention. Metals used are Copper, Aluminum, Fine Silver, and Sterling Silver. The goal of this class is to attain a basic level of silversmithing skills, it is possible to create 2-3 completed jewelry projects.
This class consists of 4-3 hour sessions.-$240 plus materials or $440-8-3 hour sessions(savings of $40.) MATERIALS FEE: metal + stones may be purchased each class, please come prepared to purchase what you will need. We can process checks, cash, Venmo or Credit Cards (small fee).

SILVER CLAY WORKSHOP
Learn the basics of how to work with silver clay in our introductory workshop. This 3 hour workshop covers rolling, stamping, and other methods of creating texture and all the finishing techniques you will need. Pieces will be fired during the workshop, so you can wear your creation home that day. The price of the workshop is $95. (cost of clay not included & begins @$35.-additional clay may be purchased)

This is your opportunity to make something that is truly one of a kind in a relaxed studio atmosphere.
In this 1/2 day workshop you will make a pair of blossom earrings, using hammers, forming mandrels, torches and finishing tools.
The class will cover metalsmithing techniques, and design. You will leave with not only a beautiful pair of earrings but a true sense of accomplishment. Please go to the waiver agreement prior to class.

OPEN STUDIO TIMES ARE AVAILABLE AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO EXPLORE YOUR IDEAS, REFINE YOUR SKILLS AND HAVE FUN CREATING!!! STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BE WORKING WITHIN THERE COMFORT LEVEL AND SKILL AS THIS IS NOT A WORKSHOP OR 4 WEEK SESSION, RATHER THAN TAKING ON A NEW TECHNIQUE, METAL OR TOOL.
